About Prestige Construction

Nick Holcroft and Terry O’Connor are step brothers and started Prestige Construction in 1997.  After successful building careers in their own right, Nick and Terry joined forces so they could work on larger, more challenging building projects.   Prestige Construction has grown steadily from there and has at times employed up to 30 tradesmen. Both Nick and Terry completed their building apprenticeships with Foster Construction.  Foster Construction gave them a strong grounding in Commercial Construction and managing large scale building projects.  Terry and Nick then spent several years overseas working across all aspects of building from residential to large high rise developments. Initially Prestige Construction focused on building residential homes with a particular focus on challenging architectural projects.  As often happens opportunity came knocking in the form of a client who wanted to renovate and expand an existing motel in Hamilton.  So Prestige Construction got a start in the Commercial Construction area.  Since that time Prestige Construction has become a significant player in the Commercial Construction market whilst maintaining a strong presence in the high-end new home and renovation markets. Nick oversees the sales, quoting and administration side of the business.  Terry heads up the project management area and is the key on site contact for the building projects.  Prestige Construction has a strong team ranging from Quantity Surveyors, On-Site Foreman, Experience Sub-Trades (e.g. Plumbers, Electricians etc) to ensure the building process is on time and on budget.
